DAWN
I looked into the mirror and smiled at my reflection. I ran my fingers through the curls of my long brown hair and my blue eyes glittered back at me.
"Can I come in?" Buffy slowly opened the door and walked in the room. "You look amazing."
I turned to her. "I feel amazing."
"We're ready whenever you are," Buffy said.
I nodded. "Give me a few more minutes and I'll be right out."
She walked over to me and put her arms around me. "I'm so happy for you."
"Thank you." I kissed her on the cheek and watched her walk out of the room. I turned back to the mirror and admired myself. The cool satin of the white material fitted well to my body. I adjusted the veil that was held onto my head with bobby pins.
Today was my wedding day. It was only the beginning.
"Hurry up," a soft voice said from behind me. "Your entire future is waiting for you."
"Willow?" I turned and saw that I was alone in the room.

TWO YEARS AGO
They watched as the sky ripped open and a bright light blinded them.
"You are too late!" Levtiz's eyes begin to grow red. It raised its hands to the sky and welcomed the light. "The world is mine!"
They looked up to the platform that the demon was standing on.
"We need to get up there fast!" Buffy said. She motioned to Angel. "Come with me."
"And the others?" Angel said.
She turned to see Xander and Anya with Gunn and Cordelia fighting off a group of demons. Spike and Willow were assisting Fred nearby as another group of demons were closing in on them.
"Where are Connor and Dawn?" she said urgently.
**
Dawn felt the demon's fist hit her face as she landed on the ground. She reached for the sword, but the demon quickly picked it up. Her eyes grew wide with fear as it raised the weapon over her head.
Suddenly, another sword appeared out of nowhere, slicing the demon's head off its shoulder as though it was butter.
A hand reached for her and she accepted it as she got back on her feet.
Connor looked over her. "Are you hurt?"
"No." She picked up her sword and suddenly swung it over Connor's head. The demon that was standing behind him looked down at its wound and collapsed to the ground. "Now we're even."
Connor watched with awe as Dawn walked away. He ran after her.
**
"There they are," Angel said as Connor and Dawn appeared from around a corner. They were safe. "Lets go."
He and Buffy ran up the stairs, ascending higher and higher to the platform.
Levtiz watched in amusement as the two tried to reach him. It was useless. Soon the sky would open up and shallow everything, letting him reign in darkness. He looked back up into the sky and gasped.
The witch was standing before him.
"It ends right now," Willow said. She walked across the thin air and onto the platform.
Buffy and Angel looked up to see Willow with Levtiz. "No! Willow!" Buffy said. She ran even faster to the top.
Willow eyed the tall demon. "Fiat justia ruat caelum."
Levtiz laughed. "Let justice be done though the heavens fall." It clapped. "What wonderful parting words." It raised its hands and a bolt of red zapped at Willow.
She raised her hands and blocked the light. Her eyes turned to a bright blue as she sent a zap of blue towards the demon, striking it in the chest. It faltered for a moment before locking eyes with Willow again.
"We fight my way," it said. It raised its hands over its head and the surge of energy from the sky encircled it with the bright light. "And I always win." It raised its hands at Willow again, sending a light force huddling towards her. Willow tried to block it again, but the force broke through, coming in contact with her body and sending her over the platform.
"Willow!" Buffy watched as her friend's body fell from the sky. She turned her face as Willow hit the hard ground below.
**
Dawn saw Willow fall from the platform. She ran to her aid and cried out at the sight. A puddle of blood was forming from behind her head. "Willow?" She cradled her body in her arms.
Willow's eyes moved to Dawn. "It's okay, Dawnie. It doesn't hurt. I can't feel anything. It's okay." She took her last breath as she closed her eyes.

PRESENT DAY
DAWN
I wish Willow was here, but I knew she was right by my side. I sighed and walked outside where my future husband was waiting for me. The night was cool and the moon was full, casting its light upon us. I glanced at the stars, remembering when I used to wish on them, but I didn't do that anymore. All of my wishes had come true.
"Ready?" Spike offered me his arm and I looped mine through it.
I nodded, but I couldn't ignore the butterflies in my stomach. We walked to the backyard where everyone was sitting. They all stood up and watched as Spike and I walked down the aisle. I looked at my groom, smiling and holding back my tears. Spike lifted the veil and kissed me on the forehead. "My little bit isn't so little anymore, is she?" He went and sat down next to Buffy and I turned to face the minister.
"Tonight, we come together in holy matrimony to join these two souls," the minister said. "Love is eternal, and so tonight their eternity as husband and wife begins."
I felt his hand take mine and I couldn't hold back my tears any longer. He placed his hand on my cheek and wiped them away.

CONNOR
When I was watching her walk down the aisle, everything came flooding back to me. The moment we met, the battle where we could have all died in, the day I fell in love with her, the day I asked her to be my wife…
As I took her hand into mine, she began to cry. I knew they were tears of happiness, but I still wiped them away because I had made her a promise, and I was keeping it.
**
ONE YEAR AGO
Connor was careful as he placed his hand on Dawn's shoulder. She didn't move as he sat down on the grass next to her. They looked at Willow's tombstone together.
"It's like she's still here, you know?" she said. She ran her hand through her hair. "I mean, it's like I can feel her."
Connor watched a teardrop make its way down her cheek and fall off her chin. "You don't have to cry."
She looked up at him.
"I promise you that you don't have to cry anymore," he said and he wiped another tear away before it could hit the ground.

PRESENT DAY
CONNOR
I looked at my father and rest of my family. Cordelia was wiping her tears with tissue; she probably didn't want to ruin her make-up. Gunn and Fred were holding hands; wedding rings on their own hands from their ceremony a few months ago. A sadness hit me as I thought of Wesley.
Like Willow was to Dawn, Wesley was a close friend, almost like another father to me. But even our bond couldn't save him.
**
THREE YEARS AGO
"I'm sorry, Angel." Wesley raised the bow and arrow and aimed it at the vampire.
Suddenly, a pole came whirling past his head, knocking the weapon out of his hands. He looked up to see Connor with Gunn behind him.
Angel saw his opportunity and got himself loose from Holtz's grasp. He reached for the knife and struck it into Holtz's heart.
Wesley started to panic as the group approached him. He looked desperately for something to defend himself. He found the bow and arrow and picked it up. "Don't come any closer."
Angel's eyes filed with sympathy as he raised his hand to his lost friend. "Wesley..."
Wesley raised the weapon. "Don't."
Angel took a step back.
"Just let me go," Wesley said.
"Where will you go?" Angel said.
Wesley started to walk backwards, away from them. "Just let me go." His voice pleaded with them. "Just let me go." He started to sob and dropped the bow and arrow. "Just let me go…" He collapsed to his knees.
Angel walked over to him and placed his arms around him as he tried to help him up. Suddenly, his eyes turned to shock as he felt the stake in his chest.
Gunn quickly reacted by shooting Wesley in the head with the gun. Wesley fell to his side.
Angel looked down at the stake. It wasn't anywhere near his heart. He pulled it out, ignoring the pain. He looked down at Wesley's lifeless body.
"He wanted us to kill him?" Gunn said in disbelief.
Connor stared at Wesley and was grateful when it suddenly started to rain, disguising his tears.

PRESENT DAY
CONNOR
Family was the most important thing in anyone's life. I had come to accept my family, and my family was growing more and more each day. I looked at Buffy and Spike, Xander and Anya, Giles, and even Clem.
And when Dawn and I finally said, "I do, " we kissed each other passionately, and the clapping and cheering seemed to disappear for that one moment. We walked down the aisle together as husband and wife, smiling and laughing.
"I love you," she said as we paused under the archway.
"I love you." I leaned forward and kissed her again. And I knew this was only the beginning.
**
THE BEGINNING
Dawn watched as Angel and the others arrived from Los Angeles to Sunnydale. She was grateful to see them all. If the prophecy about Levtiz was true, they needed all the help they could get. She saw a young man walk up the house with them and watched him with curiosity. It was Connor, Angel's son. The miracle child, they called him. She also knew a thing or two about being unnatural.
Buffy welcomed them inside the house. Dawn smiled at them as they entered the living room.
Angel introduced everyone to them. He looked at Dawn and then at Connor. "Dawn, meet my son, Connor."
She smiled at him shyly. "Hey."
He smiled back. "Hey."
